  1. AND... I had removed the add-on... deleted my CH account that was set up. Then I changed my main use admin account on my XF site to a new email, moved my current email (which I'm registered here under) to my #1 user account as a valid email, added the add-on back in and set up my CH account (register) again... and don't see my site as an option in my CH account to config. So something really screwy is going on.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong.. but shouldn't posts in "selected" areas be showing up (at some point) on the Community Hive stream? I saw my "blurb" for my site listed... but none of the posts in the areas (nor for the tags defined) are showing up. There was an issue when I installed that it set up using the first user account in the XF users... but that is a "place holder" account and when I signed up here I used my normal account for the site. I thought issue had been addressed...but there have been several posts made and none of them show up under the stream tags I defined (space, astronomy, astrophotography). Do I need to delete the add-on, delete my account on Community Hive and try starting over again?
  3. When you say the "main CH site"... are you talking aobut the support forum (talk.communityhive.com) or the actual CH site that allows you to browse. If you are seeing XF related topics, odds are it's not the actual CH site, but the support forum since their add-on had some major issues working with/under XenForo since they are more familiar with their own script. This is an issue that I have with this process... honestly, IPS could do this "non gratis" and it could easily be shown as a tax write-off instead of looking at it as an income making proposition.
  4. One issue (at least for my account) is that my custom tags don't show any traffic... even though I know that I have posted on the site in areas that should be reflected. I had an issue originally with the fact that the add-on used the #1 user account for "registering" for CH.... but the #1 user account in my XF install is a "default admin" that never gets used, as that is done by a separate account. Do I need to remove the account and add-on and start over again? @Charles was supposed to have linked the admin account that the site was originally set up under over to my current account (which I can manage it in my current account). I just see no traffic showing up for the custom tags I provided for the site (astrophotography, astronomy and space).
  5. Just a note for XF... and I mentioned it over on the XF site also. Y'all really need to use the version in the file name instead of keeping it as one common file. It can get rather confusing when trying to figure out which "version" you are installing (if you have to uninstall) and falling back to an older version.
  6. What!!!! You don't know be by now! 😝 I had a feeling it might be something like that so that's why I didn't worry to much. Once the update comes out that lets you pick your correct email to use, will we simply upgrade the add-on or will we need to uninstall and then go back through the entire process again?
  7. Looks like I simply needed to change the settings for the audience, save it then do it again for general audience... now let's see if any content shows up.
  8. How long does a site stay "under review" so it can show up in the feed? Mine's been that way for about a week now.
  9. A certain XF developer has been waiting for several months while one of his WordPress add-ons is in the "approval queue". At the rate they are going... he'll probably have refactored it a few times before they get it approved.
  10. Honestly not really "different", but you are simply not familiar with it. They have MANY abilities built in that IPS would do well to emulate (and yes, that stream flows both ways)... but if you are going to code add-ons for XF.. you DO need to be at least somewhat cognizant of their requirements and not fixate on what IPS does in their native solutions and try to force others to do similar. No... I'm not "burning you"... I can see valid benefit of this for sites... and REALLY wish it the best moving forward as I can see it benefitting many. Don't get stuck on the fact that I have a tendency to "burn" IPS for some of their decisions.. the software offered is top notch... but that is totally separate from business decisions made by the company. I'll gladly tell you what I see as warts.. and what I see as unpolished diamonds.
  11. I've removed the add-on (until can confirm about the email account listing in the stack list that I mentioned since it is NOT associated with my account and is simply a "placeholder" admin account. Now, the question is... do I need to delete my Hive account for the site.. and if so, where? Then once admin vs tracy account issue is answered, i can try installing it again. Hopefully removing the add-on deletes the Hive account?
  12. Edit time to short! The ACP entry should (if using to activate on the first go) do that.. but it should actually have sub-options so that the same "options" that are visible from the add-on screen are available there. This is what you get. It doesn't follow the normal "flow" of XF ACP item options selections.
  13. It looks like it's pulling the Admin email/username (user #1) and not the account I sign in under for ACP access.... which is a "normal" created user (but SuperAdmin) separate from the Admin account. I can edit the options.. but not sure if it's linked or not. That image error is when I choose the CommunityHive ACP option.. it should not be throwing an error but if already subscribed, should tell you so.
  14. And... with the current download when I go to the ACP for it. And my stack trace Communityhive\APIException: Invalid site ID src/addons/Communityhive/API.php:135 Generated by: Tracy September 5, 2023 at 10:55 PM Stack trace #0 src/addons/Communityhive/Admin/Communityhive.php(74): Communityhive\API::subscribeMember(Object(SV\ElasticSearchEssentials\XF\Entity\User), 'admin@astrowhat...', false) #1 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(352): Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive->actionIndex(Object(XF\Mvc\ParameterBag)) #2 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(259): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchClass('Communityhive\\A...', 'Index', Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch), Object(Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive), NULL) #3 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(115): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchFromMatch(Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch), Object(Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive), NULL) #4 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(57): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchLoop(Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch)) #5 src/XF/App.php(2487): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->run() #6 src/XF.php(524): XF\App->run() #7 admin.php(13): XF::runApp('XF\\Admin\\App') #8 {main} Request state array(4) { ["url"] => string(25) "/admin.php?communityhive/" ["referrer"] => string(82) "https://astrowhat.com/admin.php?add-ons/install-from-archive-complete&batch_id=184" ["_GET"] => array(1) { ["communityhive/"] => string(0) "" } ["_POST"] => array(0) { } } Communityhive\APIException: activation error Server error: `PUT https://communityhive.com/api/v1/activate` resulted in a `500 Error` response: {"error":"community already activated"} src/addons/Communityhive/API.php:88 Generated by: Tracy September 5, 2023 at 10:57 PM Stack trace #0 src/addons/Communityhive/API.php(50): Communityhive\API->activate() #1 src/addons/Communityhive/Admin/Communityhive.php(72): Communityhive\API::toggle(true) #2 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(352): Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive->actionIndex(Object(XF\Mvc\ParameterBag)) #3 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(259): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchClass('Communityhive\\A...', 'Index', Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch), Object(Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive), NULL) #4 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(115): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchFromMatch(Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch), Object(Communityhive\Admin\Communityhive), NULL) #5 src/XF/Mvc/Dispatcher.php(57): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->dispatchLoop(Object(XF\Mvc\RouteMatch)) #6 src/XF/App.php(2487): XF\Mvc\Dispatcher->run() #7 src/XF.php(524): XF\App->run() #8 admin.php(13): XF::runApp('XF\\Admin\\App') #9 {main} Request state array(4) { ["url"] => string(25) "/admin.php?communityhive/" ["referrer"] => string(51) "https://astrowhat.com/admin.php?logs/server-errors/" ["_GET"] => array(1) { ["communityhive/"] => string(0) "" } ["_POST"] => array(0) { } } It looks like it's got an issue maybe with Xon's ElasticSearch Essentials add-on.
  15. Haven't had a chance... been doing data captures (astrophotography) and integration of the images for the last several days... M16 and I are doing battle... and it's winning. Will try it tonight if I get a chance. I somewhat tamed the Western Veil Nebula.... which brings up a point... a LOT of the posts that appear on my site are image based... does this relay the images in those posts or just any text? The text for this image isn't much.. just telling what it is, and the data of the capture is done in custom thread fields that aren't actually in the post. Also as a side note... y'all should really version the download names.... makes it easier to keep up with once they are downloaded.
